Tony Bowater from Bowater Toyota

Well that is the message I heard from Tony Bowater as he enthused on them.
With petrol heading to $2.50 hybrids are the way to go.
Pure electrics are hard on the environment with expensive batteries and other problems.
Hydrogen is for the way off future.
Diesel is dirty and inefficient.
There are a number of myths about hybrids.
One of the big plusses for hybrids is when waiting at the lights it is not operating and polluting at all.
The batteries are guaranteed for 8 years or 160000 Km a new one will set you back about $3000 but they hardly ever replace them.
On one tank of fuel where before you would get 500 km you now get 1000km.
The Camray hybrid full feature car costs $65000. Tony thinks I should buy one.
